Yoga for real life
The Secret Garden of Stillness grew out of long car rides, bedtime routines, farm seasons, and that constant “on” feeling. These classes are quiet pockets of time where you don’t have to be productive — you just have to be here.
I’m Marisa — yoga teacher, farm wife, and mom of three, creating gentle pop-up classes for people who don’t feel like “yoga people” but know their nervous system needs a break.
Yoga was never about touching my toes. It was the first place I felt safe to unclench my jaw, put my phone down, and remember I was more than my to-do list.
This isn’t a perfect-studio, perfect-outfit kind of yoga space. It’s the kind where you can show up in a messy bun after hockey practice and still feel completely welcome.

Expect lots of props, options, and reminders that it’s okay to rest. You’ll see blankets, bolsters, chairs, and simple shapes that meet your body where it is today — no pressure to push or keep up.
Classes pop up in libraries, salt caves, backyards, barns, and small businesses around Sandusky, Bad Axe, Caro, Port Austin, and the surrounding Thumb area — bringing cozy, studio-style calm to the places we already live and gather.
